Student Ministry
At Christ Church, our EYC Student Ministry (Episcopal Youth Community) is centered on helping middle and high school students build a strong foundation of faith through spiritual formation, fellowship, and service.
Through weekly gatherings, special events, and shared experiences, students are invited to grow in their relationship with God and one another – asking questions, exploring scripture, and living out their faith in meaningful ways.
EYC (Episcopal Youth Community)
Sunday Morning Formation
Sundays | 10:00–10:45 a.m. (year-round)
Students gather each Sunday morning for Bible study, prayer, and conversation as we explore the stories of faith and what they mean for our lives today.
Wednesday Evening
Wednesdays | 6:00–7:30 p.m. (follows the school calendar)
A weekly gathering of dinner, games, Bible study, group discussion, and Compline. Wednesday nights are a time to connect, reflect, and grow together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Sunday Lunch & Games
Once a month | 12:15–2:00 p.m.
A casual time to share a meal, play games, and spend time together. Sunday lunches are a great way for students to build friendships and feel more connected to the community.
High School Bible Study
Every other Saturday | 10:00–11:00 a.m.
A student-led gathering where high schoolers explore scripture and connect it to the real questions and challenges they face in everyday life.
Confirmation Class
Offered annually (typically in the fall)
Confirmation is an eight-week class held during Sunday formation that explores the foundations of the Episcopal tradition and what it means to live out our faith. At the conclusion of the class, students have the opportunity to be confirmed by the Bishop.
Acolyte Lock-In
Once a year
An annual overnight event filled with games, fellowship, and time together, followed by acolyte training the next day. Students learn how to serve in worship through acolyting and assisting the Altar Guild, taking an active role in the life of the church.
Mission Trip
One week each summer
Each year, our students participate in a week-long mission trip during the summer, serving communities in need while deepening their understanding of faith through action. It’s a transformative experience that brings together service, growth, and community.
