My story begins in Broken Arrow, where I was born and raised as the youngest of five brothers and sisters.
I grew up playing basketball, as well as performing in the Pride of Broken Arrow Marching Band.
I then attended a small, private university in central Illinois where I studied theology and student ministry. For over ten years, I lived in New Hampshire and Illinois where I worked on staff for two churches, helping lead their Jr. high and Sr. high ministries.
In addition to working with young people here in the U.S., my wife, Amanda, and I have recently made two trips on our own to Uganda to help strengthen our partnership by teaching inside a local ministry and orphanage.
During my time away from Christ Church, I work from home in Owasso as a professional writer and newsletter publisher. Amanda and I have been married since 2007 and have a 2 year-old son named, Palmer, whom we’ve inducted into the tradition of cheering for Oklahoma football.
